I picked the album up when I got off of work yesterday at 5:00 p.m. I went and got something to eat and got home around 7:00 p.m. I listened to it straight through once last night then I started playing "Love" and "Lolita" over and over till around 10:30 p.m.
I got up this morning around 8:00 a.m. and didn't have to come to work until 2:30 p.m. I listened to "Love" and "Lolita" over and over again for probably about an hour and a half. I messed around the house until around 11:30 a.m. and started getting ready for work. I listened to it in it's entirety again while I made a copy of it to take to work. Then I listened to the copy in it's entirety. I then listened to "Love" several times before I left and in the car on the way to work. Andy is a four letter word.

I'm on the 2nd time right now. I'm on Love. Don't hurt me, I'm a newb. I'm supposed to be stupid.

About three times so far. I've skipped a few tracks a couple of other times.
I think it's a good album, no doubt. But it's pure confection, with virtually nothing of substance.

Get over it. If he was preachin about gettin laid I bet u wouldnt mind. And your a Rainbowchild? The Word is so fresh sounding and the words are not preachy at all, in fact, he is so smooth with his preaching that I can hardly tell and Im saved myself. The songs are preach-esque, but damn near secular compared to some of his other work. (ahem! TRC) "A Watcher scoffs at gravity!"

Day 3- I brought my CD to work to have them play it at the breakroom; they listened up to track 5 and they took it down. There wasn't any enthusiasm for it, I can tell. I don't blame them though... "Just like the sun, the Rainbow Children rise."

I have not yet listened from point A to point B on the C D yet.
In other words. 2 days in and I am still skipping about like a little girl on soda. can you say ADD? News: Prince pulls his head out his ass in the last moment.
Bad News: Prince wasted too much quality time doing so. You have those internalized issues because you want to, you like to, stop.

I'm tempted to do it, but I am a Prince completist and so whether I love the album or not, I have to keep my copy, although I know I won't be playing it much. "Just like the sun, the Rainbow Children rise."

I have listened to the album a couple of times. I however jump around. I like it more then I like Musicology. Out of a Prince personalized Music Scale 1-10 for me this album is about a 6. It is a little better then his avrage. News: Prince pulls his head out his ass in the last moment.

Disclaimer: I'm a huge fan of TRC, but it's widely panned by fans who felt offended by what they perceived as hardcore preachiness. "The Word" and "Get on the Boat" are very tame by comparison. The Rainbow Children was a concept album and so I didn't mind that at all as it was "religious" throughout. 3121, however, was all over the place and those "preachy" songs were distracting to me. Uhh OOOOOKAY!!!

About 9 now, I lost count, Can't get it out of my head. I put it on at work today, great to hear Te Amo Corazon blasting over a PA and a 80 year old woman doing hand jive to Black Sweat. I am telling you this album rocks. Have you ever counted up $100 in chump change to Fury, had to stop and do it again 3 times!!. Gouing to go 2 bed as its 11.30 here in NZ and listen to it again. 17 Years ago I made a commitment to Prince

7 so far, today for the first time on headphones which was a far better experience than straight from the cd player. For some reason every time I listen to this album I feel an urge to listen to the Musicology cd...odd. Time is a trick....
