Love the man, love the music, but the "gotta get the albumassoonasitsoutOMIGAWD" level of enthusiasm was killed by Rainbow Children, in my case. I kinda feel the way you do. Never pay retail. How much can you save buying used? 2 or 3 bucks? Is it worth it to wait amonth and have to scour the earth for a used copy? You'll spend more in gas than you'll save. | |

Me to, and it was suposse to come today. I paid high S&H Fees for it
to be here today, but nope. Then I got Home after Work, and saw an Email from Musictoday, saying it was just Shipped today...NO WAY! I will be calling, that's for sure. I'm not paying that Price for it not to be delivered when it should have been.....especially since it wasn't a Weather Delay like I orgianlly thought it would. cause the album aint out in Australia yet!!!! damned lazy assed aussie record labels. I mean its not like its a PS2 game or sumthin and needs 2 be reprogrammed for our systems for cryin out loud!!!
Why isnt there an international release date for CDs? Its just stupid 2 release them at different times, sure it is comin out on Saturday, which i think is a strange day 2 release it, but oh well at least ive heard the most of the album so im kinda happy 2 an extent! It was here in NZ on March 21st which is March 20th US time. I went to the shop asked the girl if she knew the release dates of albums and she said "what" I said 3121 by Prince, and she said over there and pointed to an envelope with about CDs of it spilling out, I grabbed one looked at it for 5 seconds and said I want it!!! 17 Years ago I made a commitment to Prince | |
