In terms of the song with the biggest chart potential, that is easily Incense and Candles. With the right video, that song could get a lot of play. If you look at Musicology, the song that got the most play was Call My Name, which became a staple on Black Adult radio for months. Incense and Candles is a nice follow-up to Black Sweat. I don't think Lolita has mainstream or chart potential at all. The Word is very catchy, but the mainstream potential is not there.

I still think there should be a video for BLB. That would really give Tamar exposure too. Finally, The Dance - again with the right video - also has the potential to chart and get video/radio play.

Respect...But I think the trouble with "Incense & Candles" is that while it has that familiar "Prince" sound and trademark sex-mojo, it is still heavily contempoary in ites R&B sound...It's the type of song designed for the younger R&B crowd, which is cool ("Call My Name" however, was throwback Prince slow jam that appealed to adult R&B radio stations); However, while some of the young heads know that Prince is one of the greats, they are not going to buy into that...They would rather listen to Jamie Fox and Twister

Which is why Prince should drop "Lolita"...Take a listen to the conglomerate radio stations that play everything from rock, R&B, pop and hip-hop...Most of the popular pop and rock songs of today feature retro '80s production; This is the perfect song for the public..It says, "Hey, remember the guy who could also write a fun, ironic, silly pop song and get away it?" But for this to happen, Prince has to make a great video...TRL will play a clip directed by say a superstar director (Spike Jonze) and featuring some celebrity eye-candy (Rasorio Dawson and Beyonce; as I stated in a previous post...) This is a new music game people...It's all flash and little substance....But Prince can pull off the balance...

You guys have me re-considering, now. I still think that Fury would be a killer next single. But you're right that Love would be hot, as well.
