3121 sound quality...

Is my copy of the cd 3121 the only one that has crackling and pop on the tracks Lolita, and Love...?

why is that? i ermmm noticed that on an.... ermmm PROMO copy. i thought it sounded like it was suposed to be there but i hopped it would NOT be in the final product. so what is it some lame attepmt to sound like a record?
