Island records will be releasing the 12" of Black Sweat on the 27.03.06 in the UK. Has anybody heard if 3121 will get a Vinyl release?

The UK release date of Black Sweat has always been 27th March, rumour has it that there will be a 12" picture disc record and an Enhanced CD (including the video). There are also Promo versions of the CD and 12" (not Picture disc). As has been discussed before, the 12" is exactly the same as the single version, so why they've put it on a 12" I don't know...

It's too bad that Island in the UK is choosing not to issue a vinyl version of 3121. We can still hope that Universal/Motown in the US will to a vinyl pressing.

Island in the UK would like to do a vinyl club sampler but it's up to the US to decide if they can go ahead.

Will it be an actual 12 inch (extended version) or just the album version on a 12 inch disc?

That song is begging for the extended treatment.
