i would give anything for a purple ticket... i got my prince album 3121 march 17 and nearly dropped when i took out the booklet and saw another piece of paper inside it was an advert for tamars new album.... sake... so if i sent a letter to the above address am i enter in a draw for a purple ticket or something? i don't get it!

at any rate...those of you who were asking questions on the other thread..repost here and I will clarify for you

i recall seeing a question about the "second chance postcard" sweepstakes..that applies if all 7 tickets are not claimed. if the first entry for the actual sweepstakes doesnt specify postcard, you dont have to send it on a postcard, any piece of paper should do.

if you sent a postcard that had to be postmarked (not received, there is a difference) by 3/21 for itunes, that is separate from this one..you can now start sending one entry a day for this one.

banana...you need to check your listing above...because you are going to confuse people. the rules above are for the i-tunes sweepstakes, not the cd sweepstakes. they are completely different. two different contests, two different sets of rules. i posted the rules for the cd sweepstakes in a separate thread (locked) as well as on the purple ticket sticky (also locked). i can repost here if you like.....

hey thanks man but i'm from ireland (not the uk). i still dont have an idea i have the album which contained no ticket but the rules say that if you send a letter or postcard to the address they'll open a 'package' and see if ones inside i dont get it? this is so damn confusing..

i hear d prince is playing ireland at electric picnic how true is that?

thanks banana..actually, the information I posted had not yet been posted. I put up a thread with the "official rules for the cd purple ticket contest". and immediately received a PM saying it was locked and to discuss it on the "purple ticket" thread that already existed. I responded asking them to make the new thread a sticky since it contained the new information just released, and wouldn't get buried 10 pages back on the existing sticky, LOL. I even posted a nice pic like above, without the line breaks in it

At any rate, here are the official rules for the cd competition (separate and distinct from the i-tunes competition): see post below.

What If the Purple Ticket gets opened by a nonfan?

So, I was sitting at Starbucks yesterday. I was happy they would be selling 3121. However that got me thinking

Starbucks, and other places as well, buy with store debit a copy of the albums they sell to Play in the store.

What happens if some noncaring Starbucks employie opens the purple ticket CD?

Would they know what they had?

Would they fight among themself for it?

Would they send it to coperate?

Would they just discard it? Put it in the trash? Spill Coffee on it?
