Which makes this thread pointless. Eh, no. Imagine has a POINT. Prince songs are often about obvious subjects or things that don't have a very deep meaning. I guess what I'm saying is some of Prince's music is shallow. Imagine in comparison, is not shallow. So what could be a list of the DEEPEST, most meaningful Prince songs, and please don't say Purple Rain or The Ladder, etc because they are just lighter-waiving songs... that would be "waving" songs. waive is to forego. Someone mentioned My little pill as pointless,it is obviously a clear reference to a depressed housewife,in a similar vein to Mother's little helper by The Rolling Stones. Not at all meaningless but actually a living reality for some people.
The only Prince song that seems absolutely meaningless to me is La La La,He He Hee. Time is a trick.... | |
