i think its really good.
Its got that feel good complimentary vibe going on.Its also very listener friendly and IMHO i feel its got the potential to be a hit.. Fuck the funk - it's time to ditch the worn-out Vegas horns fills, pick up the geee-tar and finally ROCK THE MUTHA-FUCKER!! He hinted at this on Chaos, now it's time to step up and fully DELIVER!!

It is a mostly nice uplifting song. News: Prince pulls his head out his ass in the last moment.
Bad News: Prince wasted too much quality time doing so. You have those internalized issues because you want to, you like to, stop. | |

i just think it's generic r&b. nothing special at all. like an album filler or something. i hope her cd will be much stronger than this track. | |

Same here, I agree with you...plus I do love when Prince perform duets, he really doesn't do them that much...I love the song. Also, I like the way 3121 tells a story...I think each song is just where it is suppose to be....a very nice balance.  "A united state of mind will never be divided

Well its not quite the same thing but I've been playing BL&B followed by Brand New Orleans. Its close to an extended version - they kinda groove together. | |
