they had "Ulitmate Prince" out? I guess I should check it out!

i got mine at best buy at about 2 pm today an the lady said they where selling them left and right.

Wow, I just went to my neighborhood Wal-Mart and the music manager told me that Wal-Mart had pulled 3121! He said no Wal-Mart was going to carry it. I asked him if he wasn't referring to the Ultimate Prince, and he said no, he wasn't. He thought "3121" was pulled because of bad language. I told him there weren't any curse words on "3121" but he said no Wal-Mart was going to carry it.

HOWEVER, he was wrong - whew! I called another Wal-Mart and they had it for $13.88. "3121" is prominently displayed on Wal-Mart's music website. So, it looks like one manager here in Houston needs to get his facts straight!

BTW, I went over to Target and bought two copies for $21 with tax.

I went to the Target @ Springfield Mall in Springfield, VA to pick it up and I saw the sign for 3121, but no cd. So, I ask the dude working there. "It doesn't come out today." I go, "No, I'm talking about the new cd, it does come out today." He says, "It got pushed back. OK?" He said that last bit kinda angrily. I gave him a funny look and walked out. Picked it up at Best Buy for $9.99.

K-Mart has it for $9.99 but as of 11:00 this morning they were still taking inventory in the electronics dept & nothing new was being put on the shelves until they finished.
Wal-Mart also did not have their new releases out at 11:15 but that is par for Wal_marts around here.
Target has it for $9.98 and when I picked it up at 11:30 there was only one copy left.
And no purple ticket.

I can't chance Best Buy anymore. They always sell out of big releases then won't get it back in for another week. Maybe I'll try Target.

Yes I realize she was being truthful about the fines. The funnier part (to me) was the comment she made about Prince sueing them...sadly, it's funny cause it's true... He sues his own fans, of course he'd sue Best Buy.

How much is the CD at Starbucks? I would think it cost more there considering how expensive the lattes are there.

Anyway, it is come out that not all the 3121 copies were the one's that might contain a purple ticket. You need buy the CD that has detailed Golden sicker on it.

Ripoff? I don't know. Just because you can buy something at a discount doesn't mean that you should.

I drink lattes too, lately that is. I just like them basic. I would go with capichino, but sometimes they make that into a espresson with milk so fomay it seems like wipped topping.

Well, it's common knowledge CDs are cheapest the first week of release, so why pay extra when I can use the money for something else-- like another venti latte!!

Because if everyone bought everything the cheepest, one out of those 3 people working on your latte would have to be fired. This means longer lines and less quality coffee. It also means the 3rd person that should be working there making my coffee might just be in the lot jacking my rims while I am waiting too long in lines for substandard quality coffee.
