The shoulda/coulda/woulda been Prince Hits

Didn't Prince seem to choose the wrong songs as singles off of many of his albums? I'm wanting to see some discussion on what songs the fans think he should've released off of various albums that you think would've become hits and done much better on the charts than what he actually did release.

ATWIAD - Paisley Park
SOTT - Housequake
Batman - Electric Chair
Come - Pheremone (although it would need to be cleaned up a tad, so maybe not)
Emancipation - Sleep Around
Rave - So Far So Pleased

I always thought Blue Light would have made a good single as well as The Contential. I always scratched my head when i think that he released Sexy MF and My Name Is Prince. Great Songs but no way were they going to hit the airwaves.

- Most of the songs on The Chocolate Invasion (I'll NEVER understand why this one wasn't really "released") -- Judas Smile, for example

Ooh, that's true about Chocolate Invasion. I could definitely see "Supercute" in the top 10 on the radio.

I would've like to have seen
Paisley Park
Pheremone

"Sleep Around" and "So Far So Pleased" sound too "made for radio" for me. I mean I can kinda tell that was their destination, but they're overproduced and too shallow. I hate those kinds of Prince tracks.

Housequake is awesome, but I couldn't see it on the radio.

She Loves Me For Me - The Rainbow Children (I think had the song received any radio play from Adult Urban Contemporary, it woulda made a splash)

Joint to Joint and Emale - Emancipation ... with an appropiate edit of Joint to Joint, I think these two coulda been adult contempo smashes.

A Million Days - Musicolcogy ... If serviced to pop adult contemporary.

Adore... he really shoulda just made this an official single. R&B radio still eats this track up to this day.

Housequake - I remember black radio eating this up as well with their own cleaned up version of it.
