How does Prince feel about LINA and The Inner Beauty Movement

How does Prince feel about LINA and The Inner Beauty Movement

Well I can’t answer that just yet.
But what I can say is that I’ve been a Prince fan since the eighties. His creative / original approach to music and arrangements has been one of the many things that has kept me hooked for so long. His music has so often painted a pictured perfect canvas for his lyricsInternational Lover, Dorothy Parker, Adore, Scandalous, etc... This mental stimuli, engaging as it has been at times, increased my level of appreciation for his artistry and music itself on many levels, which leads me to LINA and The Inner Beauty Movement. I stumbled on this CD and found not 1,2 or 3 songs but a whole CD that hooked me the same way Prince and his music has done so many times before, for the reason that are in bold type above. If you’re looking for another CD to add to your 3121 purchase this is the one. Don’t worry about your loyalties… TAMAR won’t be on the shelf until later anyway and they are quite different I might add since I’ve heard TAMAR in concert. With that said do your due diligence and read the Amazon reviews and you’ll get the idea. Now back to the original question….well I’d like to know what he thinks and would he consider having her open for one of his tours. I’m in no way affiliated with Prince or LINA just a fan of both….

Peace

Both of Lina's CDs are in my collection. I also wonder if Prince has heard of her.

I saw Lina had a second disc, but I didn't cop it because I wasn't that impressed with her first disc "Stranger On Earth" - which was cool for fusing jazz and contemporary R&B, but none of the tracks except for the single "It's Alright" stayed with me. Is "The Inner Beauty Movement" more of the same or does Lina take off in a new direction?

Get it. Trust me on this. Similiar stuff but better overall: vocally, musically, lyrically.

Yea I too am fimiliar with her first CD. I listened to it and only found maybe 2-3 songs that I would even compare to this 2nd CD. After reading a little about her history, it appears the Inner Beauty Movement is more of her own vision and she was allowed to explore that with the new label Hidden Beach. The first CD must have been to appease the first label. The snippets tracks on Amazon can even begin to reveal ow HOT those songs really are with the intro's and arrangements. She is definitely one of the most gifted in the game. She writes all her songs and after listenng to her lyrics along with the great production "I got caught up". I hope she can assemble musicians and tour with somebody, preferably Prince.
