Emancipaton - £1.99 Just popped into a small HMV in North London.
They had a stand saying "ARTIST OF THE MONTH" and it was Prince (guess preparation for arrival of 3121). All the classic albums - PR, Parade, DM - each for £4.99. Noticed they even had SOTT for £6.99, whereas on the main stands they had SOTT for £21.99 (!?) One copy of Emancipation on the stand for £1.99 !! I know it's not supposed to be his finest hour, but how could I resist for such a price...! Given it a first spin - initial impressions are definitely a case of way too much quantity at the cost of quality, but so far I'd say there's been a handful of tracks that I've really enjoyed.

Are you talking about the HMV in Watford? I went in there and they had a big Prince display. I thought I was going to spend all day standing by it! It was interesting to watch if other people were drawn to the display... Shut up already, damn.
