Live Music in the Music Club

Rock Steady - Aretha Cover

Party Man - Prince

Larry Graham Cover -

Man they were working it out.. Band is tight.. Had no Pro's or Con about Tamar, but she sounds raw live... Hope her original songs can be delivered live like the covers she is doing.. Nice stuff!!

Snap

factoid: Sue Ann Carwell (also known as Prince's first protegee) had a version of "Rock Steady" as well (released as a 12-inch extended mix) during the time she was working with Jesse Johnson

...going over to the club now

okay, just got back...
it's full of sound and fury, signifying nothing
i'm sure it was fun to be there, but i've heard dozens of lounge acts sound better
i hope this isn't the future of Prince disbelief

This is the best voice I've heard her in yet. I like that rawness. Course it helps having classic material like that.
