Yeah I saw it. Generally positive, but it's annoying to hear people talk about Prince when they clearly don't know too much about him and his music. One guy belittled the fact that the lyrics had no deeper meaning. Musicology was full of anti-war, political statements. So if that's what he wants he should check that out, but I doubt he ahs ever heard of it. Anyway, they seemed to dislike Tamar. Which was very harsh considering this is not her album, and they clearly don't know anything about her. "She can sing, but she has no personality" :S | |

I saw it. I didnt like the guy belittling the lyrics of The Word. What an assclown. And Te Amo Corazon fits in well with the albums vibe, I didnt like how they described it as elevator music. And they should have played a clip from the black sweat video for fucks sake. (if they did, i missed it...i didnt see the whole thing)
some of the tamar criticism is justified, some isn't. |
