Daisy's in your yard, AGAIN. I posted a while back ago asking what Princes I'm blinded by the daisies in your yard meant, in Condition of the Heart. Never a big fan of the song, but growing on me, I'm confused by the Daisies in your yard.
Everyone seemed to think it meant he was blinded by Suzanne's beauty. But aren't daisies associated w/dead bodies in the ground? So wouldn't having a lot of daisies in your yard be about a cemetary? Making Condition of the heart about a dead person? | |

I think the daisies don´t symbolize death in this particular case. My interpretation is that he´s simply amazed by the beautiful things this woman has to offer, or maybe that even the simple, small little things about her character are really overwhelming ( you know, like , daisies aren´t really THAT special, but in this case they are...this woman is so great that even the small little things about her are very special). Trasnlation: Confused as to emotional connection due to the number of "lovers" that have all become alike. Explanation: Flower=Love/Lovers Daisy=A simmularlly repitious flower. (see Harold and Maude movie) Blinded=unability to see as to the nautre of the topic. News: Prince pulls his head out his ass in the last moment.
