I can't figure out if Prince is a really deep, good person inside or if he is a fake phoney like alot of celebrities. I know a guy who met Prince at a PP party a while ago and he said..."Ugghh just the way he acted. Like he was always acting" Not truely him but just how Prince thinks Prince should act. I totally understand that celebs have hectic lives and everyone wants to talk to them...get something from them...they definatly do have to protect themselves and I can respect that plus I know they have an image to present...but I just can't see him being a fake person with all the deep, honest lyrics he writes. There have been so many lines that just make me think he his a deep, feeling person and there is nothing phoney about him. But then...I don't know...I really hope this is coming out right. Sometimes he has done or said things that just make him come off as an egocentric star that only cares about his career and I don't know...does he live his whole life as this "Prince" image every second? How can someone live like that?

he's insecure is all - imo

insecurity makes a person act all kinds of different ways

he's been conditioned by the system

so it makes being fake a hard habit to break

i believe his real with his music - most of it

the humble stuff is real

the arrogant stuff not so sure

Please don't get me wrong...I love Prince....I like the fact that he goes in different directions and everyone has the right to grown and change...but sometimes I feel like he is just manipulating us and creating a new "Prince" every few years. Like it is all marketing. I really hope he isn't like that...and if he changes every few years in his thinking, additude, belifes, ect...I think that is great and he should keep his open mind (which I love about him) I'm just saying I hope he REALLY feels that way deep down inside and not just thinking up a new image to sell his records. I like him just the way he really is...which I think is the guy in the music and lyrics...and he doesn't have to be this fake, phoney Prince with all this hype. I hope when he changes his image it is because honestly feels he made a transion in his heart.

one day they have a certain truth
the next day they have another

there is no mentl stability
becuz they do not live in a real stable world
