Talking With Prince.

Get real People, lets not be crude, but if you could talk for an hour with Prince, what would you like to talk with him about?
News: Prince pulls his head out his ass in the last moment.
Bad News: Prince wasted too much quality time doing so.
You have those internalized issues because you want to, you like to, stop.

He'd do it in his Camille Voice.

I'd talk to him about music in general. ABout HIS music in general. As he never has discussed this or that song.

I'd ask him how he envisions the future of music as well as what he thinks about his vault material and why he feels it should remain where it is.

I really don't want anything to do with this idiot. I would love to just hear him talk with others. I'm a watcher, a mere spectator. Such is life..lol

and yeah, he'd better not let me find out that he's got a nice-sized vinyl collection, because our time talking would be extended a bit..."can i have this? where'd you get this from, whatchoo know about this album?!" evillol

while i am a big fan of his music, there is nothing that would make me want to spend even a few minutes conversing withhim, let alone a whole hour

I would like to talk with Prince about creating music. I am a piano player and it would be lovely to sit with him and play. He plays so beautifully. It would be nice if he'd sing me a song. I'd also like to talk about great food and where he gets his inspiration for his clothes!

i think this is really the only way i could ever spend time up close and personal chatting with prince - just geeking out on music and talking about crazy rare stuff we own. i wouldn't dare ask him about his life or what some of his lyrics mean - i think we all know better than that - but i've always suspected that deep down in that purple little soul of his, there's a hopeless music geek just waiting to play show and tell with all the cool stuff he must have amassed over the years. seeing prince geek out over the music he loves would be awesome. otherwise, i don't really think i'd have much to say to the guy.

yeah, same here...i'd still shoot the breeze with 'im too, but not get into too heavy of a conversation. i'd get bored with it too quickly. but yeah, i'm betting he's a big music geek, too...nod

I'd like to talk to him about that npgmusicclub-released poem/song about the Moors; and the Afrikans who built the pyramids; and if he's experimented with more traditional Afrikan music/songwriting; and when he's going to set up his drums in my driveway and blow my neighborhood away!!! lol
Peace

Maybe about how growing up in the midwest was a drag, basketball (esp. if it's March Madness drool), favorite books, (visual) artists, paintings, favorite places he's traveled. Nothing too serious...
The check. The string he dropped. The Mona Lisa. The musical notes taken out of a hat. The glass. The toy shotgun painting. The things he found. Therefore, everything seen–every object, that is, plus the process of looking at it–is a Duchamp.

interesting that you say this Anx...because Prince is a very private person, I'm not so sure he's a geek waiting to get out...otherwise he'd have been on Cribs, and Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous, etc...
I think he's listening to a different drummer then me, but I love the rhythm.
I'd ask him how he feels performing in front of thousands of adoring fans, and how it feels when he walks into a movie premiere and thousands of flashes go off. How does it feel not being able to go to a movie by yourself..fame has benefits and casualties..privacy one of them. Then I'd ask him if he'd like to play some hoops
