I'll be picking up my copy of 3121 on the way to work on Tuesday & its a short drive so I will only have time to listen to one track. What is the best track if I only can hear one? This has to last me the whole day so it has to be a real keeper. If you had to pick just one:
which track from 3121 is the best track according to the Org?

a lotta people have been giving "love" props so far.

It's gotta be love for me. i didn't like it at first, but it's grown on me a lot!

title track... 3121! Love is the weakest IMO...

Its only saving grace is the end. Other than that, weakest track. The Dance would come second to 3121 for me, but that may need more than one listen to really get into it.

The Dance I love this song, and also that I be hearing people on the org liked this track more than the other.

If you want to hear a jam listen to "lolita", if you want to hear something slow but dope "the word" is a crazy track...

on another note anyone else find the album version of "fury" soft when compared to what was performed on SNL?

He should put the SNL version on the album, cuz i think fury is on of those songs that just sound iller live like "its gonna be a beautiful night"

I would say either Love or The Word. Maybe even The Dance and 3121. They are all top notch songs IMO.

Bunch a deaf ppl in here ... THE WORD is easily the best track!

It may be crazy, but I'm expecting 3121 to be a second 1999, dunno Y.

those are the 3 premier tracks in my opinion...

The verdict: if you feeling a jam to get you hype, go with love. If you feeling intellectual and artst and all that goodness go with the word. save the dance for when you get home.

The Word and Love are some of the better tracks but I can't get Lolita out of my head. I love that song. But, I also liked Life 'O' The Party so take my opinion very carefully.

And I hate the fact that I woke up this morning with Incense and Candles in my head. I'm not crazy about that one but if I'm humming it how bad could it be?

Yeah, I downloaded it early. I'll buy 2 copies on Tuesday to atone for my sins. If it makes any difference I didn't take Get On The Boat. So that'll still be a surprise.

I wish i like Love like most do so far.

funny, i find "The Dance" quite boring -- nothing more than a good idea that goes nowhere worthwhile

"3121" also grows tiring pretty quick -- i like it, but i rarely play it -- there's not enough going on to hold my interest

"The Word" is my favorite all-around song
and I'm also thankful for the song "Love"
i've been waiting for a return to some electro-funk

Hmm, I'm not so taken by TAC, Satisfied, or GOTB. Fury suffers from comparison with the fab SNL live version, but is still fine. Otherwise: I like the screaming on The Dance!

Lolita then The Dance.

And as for The Word, I just can't get over the Benny Hill style sax/keyboard line, puts me off every time.
