Why are thing so quiet w/ promotion? Less than 1 week away, why is everything so quiet on the promotion front?

we live in a culture where people want it NOW
and right now, there's nothing to get NOW by next week, they will have forgotten whatever promotion they saw today if people hear about the product when it's available, better chance they'll buy it then | |
