The consensus over there seems to be that 3121 is a shitty album. These are some serious soul heads, so I would be worried.

i love that fact that prince doesen't water down his technique to appease the masses.

Donnie Simpson is a serious soul head and he said "Fury" sucked on SNL. And he was very wrong.

Is it just me or doesn't anyone think it's a little odd that the main Okplayer (Questlove) is now in a band with the two woman (W&L) that a lot of R&B fans credit with sucking the funk/soul out of P's music in the 80's? But yet they are dogging P's new album.
