the PP's? lol Prince came to me himself after hearing the music and made me an offer which I was surprised by - because I was hoping he'd know I didnt come to his site for personal gain . I live my beliefs . Which is why I rejected the offer . I dont need to be famous and get all involved with that mess . Perhaps thats a concept ur unfamiliar with. Mayb u werent paying attention for the 3 years I was there . Any music I gave u guys - I gave it to you for free . sure. there are people who hang around popstars - winning their favour by complimenting them - being 'yes' people - because they just want to be close to someone who they think is important - so they can feel important . they usually dont actually care about the popstar themselves - only what they can get from them . its a sad sad thing that happens in the music industry - usually because popstars are promoted as being some kind of 'ideal' version of what we all should be - which is very misleading and not altogether true . when the popstar gets really really famous - they find themselves isolated from the normal reality - and it gets harder and harder to detect who is wanting to be around you to help - and who is wanting to be around you just cuz they want something . and when u get even more famous - its usually the case that you start seeing the people who are trying to genuinely help you - as the ones who want something from you - and the one's who want something from you - as the ones who are trying to help. its a very twisted psychology that i have great compassion for - but not something i find myself being able to stay quiet about. i work in the industry with certain ' rising popstars' educating them on how to protect themselves from 'leeches' ( as well as other things ). most young artists arent mature enough or discerning enough to be able to tell the difference between shmoozers and genuine helpers . in the worst case scenario - what ends up happening - is the pop star lets all the wrong ones in - and the keeps the right ones out. thats usually becuz their ego is inflated and they cant see strait . I've reference JOhn Lennon and Elvis as classic examples . Prince is another . and I am sure there are many more. we can at least be thankful that the music rises above all that mess - even if the 'popstars' soul cant. hope that helps. It's not an investment. You got a service which you paid for (i.e cd, dvd, music club membership, concert tickets) If you're truly unhappy with it, ask for refund or don't purchase products from that manufacturer (Prince) anymore. Otherwise, shut the fuck up and quit frontin'. As soon as you're given the opportunity, you'll be back at the NPGMC, standing in line buying the new cd, standing in line for another concert ticket.
