Listening to this smooth track this morning reminded me of the posts here about 3121. Prince seems to have quite a few fair weathered friends. They love Prince when he plays what they want to hear and then they give up and degrade him if the music is not 100% to their liking. Some give up on him only to turn right around to enjoy his music. Some peeps put so much thought and energy into Prince that unless he always pleases them they act like spoiled children who feel like they've wasted their kisses on him? Why can't they appreciate the artist that Prince is instead of swearing him off regretting their time with him only to come back again and again.

P must sometimes feel like he wastes his kisses on us too

Well, I don't need to "come back" after a disappointing album, for I am not really planning to oust Prince or his music from my life. He's been there long enough, and I doubt I could scrape off the little lovable fucker out of my system even if I tried to.
