3121 is the best Prince album since his last one.
Honestly, criticisms of Prince's "new" at this point is mostly just splitting hairs and sharing your own subjective opinions. Most of you have been following Prince to know the drill. "New Power slide...." |

I've been trying to figure this one out....
I really liked TRC....but it wasn't as 'accessible' as 3121...it was colored strange by the religious mumbo jumbo...I hated Musicology... I think 3121 is his best album since "The Symbol Album". I love almost every song on 3121. Some of the trax already make my "best of Prince" mixes...Love, The Word, Lolita, Incense and Candles...Track after track is highly listenable, beautiful, incredibly well performed and produced, and exciting in one way or another. No, it doesn't break new ground, but because the songs are so enjoyable, I don't care. It's thrilling for me when an artist like Prince or U2 puts out an album doing what they are known best for.....That's the case with 3121. It's a PRINCE album. Thank U Prince! | |

I think I'd almost have to agree with this... The Symbol Album was the last Prince disc I enjoyed from beginning to end, non-stop. TGE is a dark horse, though. It's an incredibly solid disc and 3121 does have a serious clunker or two (but several really great tracks)... I guess I'm undecided as of yet... It's the most consistently enjoyable album in the last 10 years, at least. | |

uh, diamonds and pearls is his WORST EVER album, "daddy pop", "jughead", "push" and "insatiable" are the worst prince songs ever. | |

No joke. I really, really dig this album! Even the "weak" songs are reaching heights after each listening... what a great record ! ...man, since "London Calling" ! A collection of disparate hit-singles that hardly could make for a consistent album... but they do ! The Colors R brighter, the Bond is much tighter
