Prince on "The Def Poetry Jam?"

Don't know how many of you have heard of this, but Def Jam President Russel Simmons, along with Concious Rock-Rapper Mos Def, have started Def Poetry. Like The Def Comedy Jam, that made us laugh in the early 90's, Def Poetry (which airs on HBO) aims to inspire and uplift. The talent that is showcased on this hour long show, is magnificent. I strongly suggest you guys tune in (check local listings).

My question is, Prince "in my opinion" is an outstanding poet. One of the greatest we've ever seen. I think it would be a absolute blast if he recited some of his work on the show. I'm almost certain that his poem would probably be religious. But since he's 'Prince' perhaps they would give him a little more time. That would allow him to recite a few poems on love and romance, you know the ones that we all love to hear. I know he's a musician first, but I can name a ton of songs that would make beautiful poems.

What do you think?
