I love it too! the live version on Septimo TV was the first time I heard it. He sure seemed to be having a good time that night (though others will argue with me on that). Come here, babe.. yeah...

I Like Pretty Man too. It shows the playful side of Prince.
I like quite a few songs on that album, like "I Love U But I don't Trust U Anymore," "Man O' War" "Silly Games" "Hot Wit' U"

best thing on Rave by a mile.
Should have been a single not a hidden track!

Agreed...today I have lots of Maceo stuff, but I remember I was very excited when I heard him for the first time with Prince. And the song is very cool. It´s James Brownish, but with Prince signature all over it. And Prince plays such a nice bass there...

It's good but it doesn't touch sexual suicide's greatness.

sorry, the alltime 2 WORST endings to Prince albums have to be Pretty Man and Get On The Boat - both utter
funny how both have the "maceo" shout out [Edited 3/10/06 21:53pm]

I was referring to them being the worst endings to albums. I like the theory that an album should go out with a bang, and what better than these two?! I suppose some prefer the ballad ending like Adore or Sometimes It Snows In April (not that I'm dissing those songs). Is that your view?

not necessarily, just don't really like those 2 songs - Get Of The Boat to me doesn't really fit the rest of the album - sounds more like a vegas alladin dvd track - i'm sure it will work really well live, but these type of songs just dont work for me on album
