Prince Borrowed From Nelly Furtado on 3121 Two times on two different songs he lifted samples used on Nelly Furtado's debut CD - maybe he was inspired by these cool samples from her CD and decided to include them.
I'm sure I'm the only one that's noticed this so please dont flame - just an observation I know Nelly and cant wait to discuss this with her and also the entire 3121 CD with her - she is a HUGE Prince fan The greatest live performer of our times was is and always will be Prince.

Location #1 contained within The Word - remember its a simple sample however a smaple nonetheless that Ms Furtado used
Also, dont be dissing on Nelly's band - I know them to and they are all very talented and accomplished musicians that actually sound pretty damn good And yes she does love Power Fantastic - thats how we got to know each other  The greatest live performer of our times was is and always will be Prince.

The first one is right after he sings (sorry dont know the exact lyrics):
"How am I suppose to get this feeling outta my brain" and than the sample begins like a bubbly sound - thats straight from Nellys CD The greatest live performer of our times was is and always will be Prince.
