Princes Cane 4 sale & (in the beautiful Experience & Come era) a symbol decorated in diamonds.

This stuff is seriously expensive, designed only 4 Prince, a man with $s.

Your link doesn't open anything but the main page of the website, but Prince wore that symbol decorated with diamonds in 98 and 99. I know this because I was going to mug him one night and take it home.

I suppose that he perhaps first started wearing it in 94-95, but I seriously never saw it until 1998 and I was up-front for a lot of Paisley shows. All I remember him wearing was the gold pendent until 1998.

After he changed his name back to Prince he started sporting the NPG pendent made of diamonds. The band members were also seen sporting these diamond necklaces.

I'm not an expert, but I do know a little something about jewelry. That prince pendant that they show is not really that expensive.

It is made of vermeil, which as many people know is silver that has been given a coat of gold. In other words, it is made of "fool's gold" not real 14K, 18K, or 24K gold. If you scrape it hard enough, its coat of gold just might rub off.

In addition, the actual diamond content in that pendant looks very small. The larger stones appear not to be diamonds, but on my screen they look like large white sapphires. White sapphires are nice stones and can fool the eye of someone who thinks they are seeing diamonds. But sapphires are not as valuable as diamonds.

In my best guestimate, that pendant is not the awe-inspiring piece of expensive jewelry that you think it is. You or I could well afford to buy that since it probably cost a grand total of about $200, if not less.

If you really dig around on the site, you can find a picture of Prince's diamond-encrusted cock ring.

I wonder if he saved some major bucks by buying Mani's engagement and wedding rings from these metal workers instead of from real jewelers? She doesn't seem like the type who would know that there's a difference between vermiel and real gold wink

Well, maybe since they were what they were - canes and belly chains, the belly chains probably being for the stage, they didn't want to spend a large amount of $$ on them. I would think he probably spent a pretty penny on jewelry for her, and himself as well. Who knows...lol

In a related manner, I know that woman that designed and built the set for the RAVE video/concert. She also designed and built part of the set for the Diamonds and Pearls and Cream videos.
