hmmm let's take a look at some of the songs in the Top 40 right now...

"You're Beautiful" by James Blunt
"Check On It" by Beyonce
"My Humps" by Black Eyed Peas
"One Wish" by Ray J

Surely you don't think that those four songs are better than "Black Sweat"? confuse

Throw the Album chart up there instead, and you'll see an artist with an amazingly healthy career still going strong... nod

Those 4 songs suck serious ass. They are supposed to represent what the youth is listening to and I would fall into that category and it doesn't represent me at all. After hearing 3121, I FINALLY got the revelation that I don't need a chart or the radio to tell me what I should be listening to cause they don't give a fuck about me.

Thank you David. Those 4 songs embarrass me. Garbage like a mutha! I honestly feel great that I don't have to listen to the radio for satisfaction when all I'm going to get is crap. I've been driving myself insane without really realizing it. Prince or anyone else could make the greatest pop song ever and radio would never play it unless for God knows what reason even if it is someone young with real talent. Everything seems so planned and calculated. Even if you Look at Ne-Yo. It's whatever now but I'm going to do me and I'm going to support class acts like Prince.

The problem here is not the sales charts. It's the way commercial radio is run, with narrow playlists. I am SICK of "youre beautiful" cause they play it 40 times an hour (sorta) When radio changes it's rules, then you'll hear Prince again on top 40 stations.

I know right?! I turn the dial or the station the moment I hear the first note of You're Beautiful. It's hot garbage spewing out of the can.
