Interesting! sounds like a good advertising budget. They should be hitting terrestrial TV as well though. Although MTV, VH1, Living and E4 will reach a lot of people. |

I've already seen the Black Sweat video on some freeview hits show (though I believe the song isn't even available in the UK yet, so it's a bit of a waste this early).
If they want 3121 to be a success, they should just pay off the radio station managers to add the singles to their playlists. Video tv is good, but the real audience is all those people stuck in cars on their way to and from work everyday.

I actually think this is because Prince is leaving it to the absolute last minute to give Universal the album artwork. The CD taken to the various listening parties was a blank CD-R, so clearly this is being kept under-wraps and maybe they don't for sure know the song-titles. What, you think Prince will change the tracklist and add new songs so that all those who downloaded the leaked version will have a reason to buy the album afresh? Awww, that would be nice of him. But he's unlikely to be catering for bootleggers - and the 'new' album would just hit the file sharing networks on the day of release just the same as the leaked version. [Edited 3/9/06 17:40pm]
