Dirty Mind, 1999, Purple Rain, Parade and as of now 3121

Close but no cigar: SOTT, Lovesexy, Batman, prince, The Gold Experience

I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

3121.

It works so well as a whole, why skip tracks?

As for a non-Prince album that I can jam to all the way through, my vote goes for Lewis II by Lewis Taylor.

Not one of his albums, to be honest. Greatness is not about liking every song, but liking the whole of its parts.
All you others say Hell Yea!! woot!

Purple Rain is the only album I own in which I like every song.
I have some albums which IMO are fabulous, but always have at least one that is so-so or just not good. Even those which are considered by many to be masterpieces.

I really dug Lovesexy and was pissed that he ruined it by making you listen to the album all the way through. This, in my opinion, really hurt the record. Most people like to have some control over what they listen to. Lovesexy has one of my all-time favorite Prince jams: Anastesia!

The Prince albums I never skip ANYTHING on:

Purple Rain
ONA: Solo Piano & Voice
Parade
Dirty Mind
Controversy
Lovesexy
The Black Album
Prince
3121

So, so close:

1999
Sign 'O' The Times
The Gold Experience
Come
Chaos and Disorder
The world is a comedy for those who think and a tragedy for those who feel.
