But what i find a bit strange is that some people her say that the vocals on the recorded version are dull and liveless compared to those on the live version. To my ears his style of singing on both versions is the same, the vocals on the live version probably sound a bit more lively because they are...well...live, and because of the different arrangement used on the live version. Just listen to these two versions one after another and i think you will hear that. No way man. His vocals on SNL sound like he's actually trying to sing. I dig the studio version a lot, it's still the same great song. Admitted, the SNL version rocks harder but the studio version is still worth listening to. I bet if you haven't heard the SNL performance you would really like this track. Maybe try to listen at it that way and you could find a new appreciation for it.
