I really think Prince's album covers have not always been as good as they could have been over the years - they don't always do justice to the music that's inside them.

i've always been quite partial to this one. i just love the way that prince is off to the side and out of focus. it looks more like a painting than a photograph to me.

speaking from a design point of view... I'm a tutor of multimedia... but everyone has their own opinion of art & design of course...

For me the best covers have to be sign o the times, chaos and disorder, around the world in a day and come in no real order.

around the world in a day - there is so much in this... you just can't help looking at it - I wrote a whole assignment on it once!
come - good concept, sombre and great photography to portray the death of prince!

I take back my choice. I would have to say the single cover for Letitgo, then Sign O' The Times,

'Purple Rain', it's kinda gritty, yet opulent at the same time.

Dirty Mind - i LOVE the bed springs in the background, very cool graphical element, but also appropriately perverted.

Too difficult to choose an absolute best! But i really like the covers for NPS, sign 'O' the times, C-note and the vault.
