Could just be familiarity in that it's the one I'm used to hearing. Remixes never have that original surge of inspiration and spontaneity.

Or maybe I just prefer Emancipation production style techniques to bossa nova/rhumba-lite remixes...

Where can I get the original version? I have never heard it before.

Always liked the original and I dig the new version as well... At this stage the original has the nod 4 me.

I like 'em both, but the new one sounds so much more urgent and interesting.

I can understand people not liking the melodramatic, cinemaesque atmosphere the new version has, but for me it sh*ts all over the older version.

When I've heard the new version I'll let you know but I don't like the original much.

Did the original version surface in one of the NPGMC ahdio shows? I LOVE the new version, which happens to be the only one I've heard. I can't wait to snatch up my copy of 3121. Might find a purple ticket

I love both versions of The Dance but if I had to choose, then I'd go with the 3121 version. The scream at the end just knocks me the fuck out. I LOVE hearing Prince scream.
