Does anyone know the origins of Prince's afterconcert afterparties?....Was he and the rest of the Revolution too charged up to chill out after doing a concert?....was it his love of jamming..? I've never heard of another musician doing as many after concert concerts as him...where and why did it all start?

The first real Aftershow was in London, 1986. I guess he jsut wanted some change from the more planned and rehearsed main concerts and expand musically.
