What are the little, seemingly insignificant things in songs that you just love? The thing that you always wait for and when you finally hear it it makes ya smile? Could be a lyric, sound, riff...anything!

For example, for me, one is the 'change' in Computer Blue. When it makes the transition into the funky half and there's that sound and it literally sounds like the first half is SHUTTING DOWN. You know what I'm talkin' about. That's one of the coolest things I've ever heard in a song 'n it gives me chills.

and also (and this I'll admit is weird)...I absoultely LOVE hearin' them "ARF!"s towards the end of Good Love. I usually like...rewind that part at least once.

One of the chills I get is on "Automatic," when the beat changes right before the girls start saying "I dream of how u kiss me, not with your lips but with your soul..." it starts getting faster and deeper right when the song was already more than hot enough.

Also, Sheila's little "Yeah!" on the I Wish U Heaven 12", in response to Prince calling her to direct the "choir"... I just love how she pops up in that little multitracked shout.

Oh and speaking of her, I love her coming in for the "badder than a wicked witch-ah" line on "Dead On It". That picks everything up for me.

When P says "Say YES!" on Eye No. He sounds so manic...it makes you wanna say Yeah!

when the bass comes in on 1+1+1 is 3. OH HELL
