Is anyone else starting to wonder if Prince is shifting his home base from Minnesota to Canada? He has been spending a lot of time there.

It has been reported that renovation is being done to the mansion he bought in Toronto. Isn't it odd that he would put money into the Toronto mansion, while Paisley is in need of renovation but no work is being done? He had construction done on a building on the Paisley property, but he project has apparently been abandoned.

Also, notice that he posted a message on his website thanking Canadian fans following his ONA shows there, but he said nothing to American fans.

Also, notice that of all the cities in the tour, he chose a Canadian city -- Montreal -- as the show from which he would release a single.

I wouldn't be surprised if some of the renovation on the Toronto mansion involves installing a recording studio.

All of the evidence is suggesting that his base of operations will be Toronto, Canada.

What's the problem?
I think he's free to live where he wants.

The truth is, of course, that Prince and Aerogram have a secret thing going. The JW bit, the marriage to Mani, they're all covers for his real agenda.

A few years back he was looking at houses in England too. He even came over to the Isle of Wight (where I live) once to check a place out!

I suppose if I was in his shoes, I'd prefer to have houses of my own all over the world rather than staying in hotels all the time.

Toronto(aside from Naples,Italy)is my favorite city in the world.It's like a condensed Europe with many different nationalities of neighborhoods.
I live in Erie,PA which is only about 3.5 hours from Toronto and try to visit as often as possible.
It's a great city and if Prince chooses to spend much of his time there,it's no surprise to me.

Aerogram is Canadian? Damn...

I think Prince likes us Canadians and he sure does get a bang for his buck. You all know how lousy our dollar is, so he comes here and gets a lot more for a lot less. Also, I have heard that he's said Canadians are more polite and respect his privacy more. And also remember that Mani has lots of family and friends here, so I'm sure he will be here quite a bit.

Isn't wife Mani from Toronto? The house is probably a place they could stay when visiting relatives. Paisley Park and Minnesota will always be his home base.

Whather Prince moves or not is of no concern to me and it shouldn't be yours. I hope Mani and him have a wonderful life and lots of children! If that's what he wants we should respect that.
