4 ur listening pleasure ;)

Hey all, been a while since I recorded a tune. Heres one I just finished but it needs a little work. I just bought 'The Vault - old friends for sale' & I would say this is the inspiration for this one.

Constructive critisism is always welcome & please forgive the current limitations of my studio. wink

Its called 3 Wishes & you can listen to it here.

God bless u all

Hey! That's what I'm talking bout. Jazzy, funky, upbeat. Very nice. I Love the chord progressions, The rhytmic pattern on the Bass Guitar is Funky. The bridge is beautiful! The good thing is, it doesn't sound like your typical, Jazz/funk song, you'd hear on the radio. It's original. Sounds like it comes from late 60's early 70's era, back when music was MUSIC!

Hey, correct me if I'm wrong, but it puts me in the mind frame of Groove Theory. I can almost hear Amel Leriux singing over this tune. If I was a bass guitar player, I would have a funky good time playin this song. The guitar solo sounds very 'Prince'like, is he an inspiration of yours wink

You said that, 'The Vault' influenced this tune. Sounds more like The Rainbow Children did.

Excellent work! Let me know when you do more smile

Thankyou biggrin

Very nice analogy of my song smile I do agree that 60's & 70's were when most 'real music' was created & some of the bass parts are based on Bernard Edwards.

"You said that, 'The Vault' influenced this tune. Sounds more like The Rainbow Children did." - now theres a compliment. biggrin

"solo sounds very 'Prince'like, is he an inspiration of yours wink" lol I'd say so lol.

Very glad you enjoyed my song & thankyou for your kind analogy smile

If you would like to hear more, I have over 25 now at www.cloud9mission.uk.co.

God bless
