[Edited 3/7/06 11:32am] It seems to me this current situation -- Mani barely ever seen anymore (at least, not directly WITH Prince...), Prince running around with (an)other woman/women and everyone curious as to what's up with the current state of his marriage -- is nothing but a replay of what went on back when he was still technically married to Mayte but had shipped her off to their house in Spain, and he and Mani were raising eyebrows with their behavior at Paisley Park parties and everyone was wondering what the deal was with he and Mani. Did you lose respect for Prince THEN? He was doing the same type of thing back then with Mani, and he was already a JW back then and going off about religion and God, and how important God was in his life. Same as now. I'm curious why Prince's behavior NOW bothers you so much that you lose respect for him, when he's doing nothing much different than what he did regarding his first wife. I can't speak for nobody else, but I will say the reason I never said anything about Mayte back then is because I didn't know he was snooping around on her with Mani or any other woman because if you recall around 99 and 2000 you didn't hardly see Prince in public like you do now. I thought he and Mayte was still married because they went to the 99 MTV awards together, plus Mani was a Paisley Park employee, a regular 9 to 5 person just like us, wheras Mayte was dancer in the NPG which made her semi-famous. All of us knew Mayte, we didn't know no Mani. When I heard that rumor about Prince and Mayte getting caught making out in a movie theather I believed it was Mayte, I never thought it was possibly or actually Mani until an orger pointed it out at one time. The only time I got to thinking maybe Prince was unfaithful to Mayte was when he had that song on Rave "I Love U But I don't trust U anymore", must've been about him. You're right he was wrong then, but I didn't notice Mayte not being at his side as much as I noticed Mani and another thing there were no twins or a Tamar or any other new protege or nothin'. Secondly, I would never question a person's relationship with God-what I said was it's wrong to say one thing and to do another especially when your dealing with the Lord. It's obvious that there are alot of responses to my statement by people who really don't value a relationship with God, but I do. Third, How can U criticize MY OPINION, I have not done so with your opinion. It's about respect for other people and that includes you, Prince and whoever else wants to step up. Just like you have a right to your opinion, I have a right to response or critique it. You don't like it, then this is not your kind of forum. To say that our responses mean we don't value a relationship with God, here again you are questioning and JUDGING our relationship with God, which is very disrespectful,more disrespectful than Prince being seen with other women.
