I don't think he is with Trent being a satanist and all and the fact that Trent's produced many "dark" sounding songs that I can't picture Prince listening to, but I mean, Trent does thank Prince in the booklet for Pretty Hate Machine (one of the mods here pointed that out... forget who though), but I'm not too sure if Trent is a big fan of P either.

Trent is a big fan of Prince's work overall, and usually takes in at least one show of a tour time permitting. I just think he can't be doing with the whole 'ego trip' bollocks, and who can blame him?

If you can track down the English release of 'Head Like a Hole' (1991), Trent did a great remix that sampled 'Tamborine' and 'Release It. And finally, the track that Prince apparently wanted Trent to remix was 'Loose!'.

I don't think Prince is capable of getting a NIN sound, period if he can't remix "Loose!" himself. He's gotta loose that Flyte Tyme sounding crap and channel his angry self. I thought 'The Human Body' on Emancipation was kinda close.
