MSP Music Expo - Sunday, March 12 (food shelf benefit) Hi All,
The next MSP Music Expo will take place on Sunday, March 12 at the Four Points by Sheraton Minneapolis. There's always a great selection of Prince items! The MSP Music Expo will be accepting cans of nonperishable food (and cash donations) to benefit Minnesota FoodShare's march campaign. March is typically one of the slower times in terms of food shelf donations (even though use is still high) to draw awareness to the need food shelves have. The Four Points is located at 1330 Industrial Boulevard, just off of I-35W at exit #22. Show hours at 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Admission is $3/person, or $2/person with the donation of two cans of nonperishable food to benefit a local food shelf. Early admission is available for $10/person starting at 8:30 a.m. Browse through over 50 tables of CDs, records and music memorabilia from the 1950s to today. Dealer tables are available. Tables are 6 feet long and have a cloth covering. Tables are $30 for tables without wall space and $35 for tables with wall space. More information about the show, including information on signing up for our mailing list, is available at www.mspmusicexpo.com Thanks so much, and we look forward to seeing you on the 12th! I prolly can;t attend this due to lack of fundage, but if any folks from Minnie are looking to shop, I've had great luck at this convention in the past. My last visit I got one of the IWD4U 12" versions I'd been searching for, in mint condition for $10...

It's right off 35W...just north of the Quarry (Target, Old Navy, etc) I'm not sure if any busses go round there, though... maybe I could go and just "look"

ps, deja- you'd totally like this if the selection compares to the last time I went. They had a great variety of dealers, so MANY types of music was represented. I also got myself a Bowie 12" that Gangsta didn't even have!
Course, he may not have wanted it, but whatevs, I LOVE it We should also keep our eyes out for the conventions they have at the VFW thinger on LynLake, I love those!

Hi all again,
Industrial Boulevard is in northeast Minneapolis. There are buses that go near the hotel. Check out the trip planner at Metro Transit's website: http://tips.metc.state.mn...page_ie.pl Otherwise, give them a call at 612-373-3333. They do offer a trip planning service on the phone. The hotel is about 10 minutes from downtown Minneapolis. We've got one dealer that specializes in rare concert posters, so be sure to check it out. We're always adding new dealers, so there's bound to be something new you haven't seen before. There'll be 50-60 tables worth of goodies to peruse. Please bring a couple of cans of food to benefit the food shelf, and you'll save yourself a buck at the same time. Check out the website for a map, signing up for the mailing list, etc.: www.mspmusicexpo.com
