Hands-down...for me, it's Sign O the Times. From the first time I popped in the cassette on release day, to the day I replaced it with the CD set, to right now...there's not a track on it that I dream of skipping or omit from inclusion on my iPod or whatever.
Even an album like Purple Rain...sorry, but by 1986 I had just heard enough of the title track. 20 years later, it's obviously an incredible piece of music, but I can't tell you the last time I listened to it from start to finish. Check out The Mountains and the Sea, a Prince podcast by yours truly and my wife. More info at https://www.facebook.com/TMATSPodcast/

There only one I usually listen to straight through is Dirty mind, and then of coures Lovesexy (cause it's only one track you have to, otherwise I might be tempted to skip Dance On ). Parade is close behind, but sometimes I skip UTCM and usually turn it off when it gets to Sometimes it Snows in April. The check. The string he dropped. The Mona Lisa. The musical notes taken out of a hat. The glass. The toy shotgun painting. The things he found. Therefore, everything seen–every object, that is, plus the process of looking at it–is a Duchamp.

Purple Rain is the one with the most consistent flow. For instance I often change CDs way before "Forever In My Life" begins on the SOTT double.

Everyone was playing around in a thread one day and I posted a picture of Sue Ellen Ewing and Prince's "Controversy" album side by side because I have always said for years that they have the exact same eyes and eye expressions. Prince looks like he could have been Sue Ellen's son. NouveauDance combined the two pictures and made an excellent photoshop. Andy is a four letter word.

Why do you have a half picture of an actress from the series Dallas imaged in with a picture of Prince? It looks awful. The Princess of Law

1. SOTT
2. PARADE "be glad that you are free, many a man is not"

hmm, depends on my mood, but for the longest time it was Lovesexy.. couldn't enough of it
Parade and ATWIAD also score pretty high.. Right now 3121 isn't doing too bad either, actually In general however, i do play all albums occasionally/regularly, and the one i'm playing is the one i like best at that moment
