Openions on JILL JONES???

Well, I don't have her last effort LOL matter o' fact I don't have anything by the woman to be quite honest. But man, I'd love to see her hook up wit the brotha again and personally I think she was THE BEST EX Prince eva had(Check that out Vagina wink she would be the PERFECT WIFE) She wasn't the easy type o' girl like 99% of his X-Girs rolleyes not to mention a REALL BEAUTY wit a REALLY good raw voice.

I just logged in her fan site and just finished reading her bio and boy I didn't know that Prince got some REAL TALENTED ppl in his lable. Pfff I would say TALENTED again and again comparing to our new lables(Murder Inc-Bad Boy-Ruff Ryders and etc etc etc).

Damn, I wish I have her 1st LP. I read the review and from reading everything I could tell its MIND-BLOWING LOL even tho I haven't listened to anything, just the thought that Clare Fisher/Eric Leads/Prince/Wendy/Lisa/Fink/Bobby/Mark are there make me wanna crawl all the way to Europe just to pick it up.

Well,,just sumthing I had to say. No need 2 reply if you find me so silly.

Peace & God bless!!

Jill was great. I love her album and her backing vocals on 1999. She was really cool in Graffiti Bridge also. I heard she was married and had children now. I heard Prince used to do her in the bathroom at First Avenue was a lot of Gossip in Minneapolis about that.

There is nothing sexy about a bathroom... they are malodorous and distinctly non-sexy. Fucking someone in a bathroom is like eating in a garbage dump... unsavory.

Maybe that's why it can be such a turn on for people. It's dirty.

Good point... a damned good point, actually, but I am still going to avoid the bathroom escapades though... unless I have the proper enticemement.

More like a vat of Lysol... I can't help but believe that I would prefer taking the woman to a nice, comfortable place for a LONG bout rather than a quickie in a stinky stall... that's just me though...

I think Prince is still into that kinky Shit. He likes it in public places if we are to question the movie theater episode. And what did it mean in Graffiti Bridge when she removed her panties on the street?

Opinions on how to spell "Opinions"...

best thing about Jill Jones was that her record is the single degree of seperation between Prince and Steve Stevens!! IceNine knows what I'm talking about.

Yeah she was working with Steve Stevens guitarist with Billy Idol and she was dating him I almost forgot that. Also she is in an issue of In Style which is very nice back from maybe 87/88. Also in 1990 she worked with Ruiachi Sacamoto on U Do Me. Very Cool song. I know I spelled his name wrong .

Jill's first album is interesting only for the music. She had a terrible voice back then, she needed to be singing back-up vocals only. I don't know if it has improved over the years ... I doubt it.

No Jill has a very good voice. Her album was so good Especially Mia Bocca and G-Spot written by Prince. The videos were good also. I really wish Paisley Park records was still around Mavis was on there with Jaguar and Melody Cool and George with Tweakin and Smell my finger. What in the world happened and remember Gilbert Davidson Prince's former best friend and bodyguard with Glam Slam now it's the Qwest. Does he still own it?

I love every last little damn thing about Jill Jones' 1987 album...it's a shame it suffered the Paisley Curse and didn't get the recognition it deserved. Not saying it was the most brilliant album ever made, but as mindless pop music goes, it's an above-average piece of work. Loved Jill's voice on it, too - a little R&B, a little rock, a little tweaked-out - lots of character and personality going on. If you haven't heard this album, by all means, find it.

I liked her role in 'Purple Rain'. I never got to hear her music though, and I never did a search on it. Wonder what I'm missing out on, better go find out!
