OK, Im kind of new to this site(Hi everyone!) so this may have been discussed before (sorry!!) But I have to know....
The last time this happened to me was
a.Reading in the paper that Prince was on the Brits...to which I went out and bought countless bottles of wine to celebrate as living in the UK we dont get to see much of him here (sob)
and b. Actually watching him on the Brits - I went crazy!!! I couldnt beleive he was actually performing, along with Wendy, Lisa and Sheila E (Who is amazing) To be able to watch them all together without having to delve into my Video (yes Video) collection eg Purple Rain Live 1984!!!??? and here they were - on national television, scooping up countless new fans along the way! It was great - I cried and screamed and made a funny yelping noise at the back of my throat to which my boyfriend finally realised how much I adore this man - he actually got emotional watching it too (he'd never admit this though!!)His performance blew me away - all the radio stations were raving about him - he seems to be the artist of the moment over here at the moment - and about time...
There go those shivers again...

Fury SNL

The last time was recently---seeing him perform with Wendy & Lisa and Shiela...doing Purple Rain together...I welled up with tears.

But if we're talking serious shivers---goosebumps---was when he performed the guitar solo "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" on the George Harrison tribute performance with Tom Petty. I have never seen a more incredible guitar solo in my entire life. It was like watching a space alien play some outer space instrument. It was ASTOUNDING.

I don't know if I would say shiver but when I saw him preform at the Tamar concert I felt overhwhelmed with lust.

It's more a TREMBLE.....EarthQuakes....Housequakes.....It was CATASTROPHIC in MINNIEWOOD.....The Emotions are INTENSE.....VERY INTENSE.....

Oh!! I just thought of another time - when he played the MTV music awards (cant remember what year - 91 0r 92?) when he had his butt cheeks cut out of those trousers phewww!!! I think he was singing Get off.....

last night...I pulled out my vinyl vanity 6 album and i heard the bass on IF A GIRL ANSWERS DONT HANG UP...FONKY !!!!!

prince's solo was a song in itself... plus him leaning back in2 the audience OOH WEE that shit was the best

last time i felt that again with Prince was his recent performance at saturday nite live where he performed an incredible (new?) song... daamn, his confidence, the solo's in between the lyrics, that he plays with almost one hand are just great, a friend of mine agreed!

i like 2 show these moments 2 friends spares me lots of time explaining why he's the best hehehehe

Purple Rain at the Brits. I felt myself trembling, and then started to cry, and didn't stop for about ten minutes. That has never happened to me before.

I don't know about 'shiver' but whenever he gets insane on guitar I just shake my head. And "Fury" made me do that.

Anytime he does an acoustic set I get the shivers,I love it when it's just him and a guitar or him and a piano,it feels like he's giving a personal performance just for me (especially if I'm listening through headphones)Also when he speaks in his regular voice or sings in his lower register,this has been known to send me...
