Ok. The video was shot during the first week of November, which was about 1.5 weeks after the baby's death. Mayte and Prince are basically seen finally coming together in a hospital room and hugging, Mayte looking all happy and Prince looking up into the heavens with a smile on his face. Nothing else really happens in the video. I mean, what the fuck? It must have been quite painful to shoot it after all that.

So... no ideas?

Music videos aren't the same as real life. Anyway I seem to recall that the video was shot when Mayte was still expecting.

Well, duh. But since Prince directed it, I assumed that it might have some bearing on reality. Isn't art often like that? *eye roll*

Anyhow, several sites I have seen claimed that the video was shot the first week of November. The baby died October 26th or so, if I remember correctly.
