ugh--she actually sings license to 'kilt' which drives me crazy every time I listen to the best of James bond...her pips couldn't even get her to sing the right thing I don't know when Prince would've been approached for a Bond soundtrack. License to Kill came out in '89 and Goldeneye was the next Bond film in '95. I don't think they had Pierce Brosnan signed up until shortly before filming(kinda like with Daniel Craig). But maybe they were planning Goldeneye for along time. It seems like quite a few artists are always mentioned as possibilities for the 'next' Bond film song. | |
