Computer Blue guitar solos.. In the movie PR, Prince duets with Wendy on Computer Blue, and later in the song they counterpoint each other..Does anyone know if on the cd, Prince is double tracked himself, or did he and Wendy do the guitar solos? | |

on purple rain cd all guitars are played by prince,except rhythm guitar on lets go crazy.
he even played guitar in i would die 4 you /so the answer is prince recorded all guitars on computerblue by himself. | |

How's that possible when also for instance "Purple Rain" was recorded live with minimal overdubs? That's still Wendy on the 2nd guitar. | |

According to The Vault, Computer Blue was recorded at Sunset Sound Studios, LA, and Lisa and Wendy play and sing on it.
To what level Wendy added guitar, it doesn't say. | |

I am not 100% sure, but I think it is two seperate guitars, just like on the movie. Guess I will have to try playing it. 'A pillow covered in all our tears' | |

The guitar lines are doubled up. The 2nd guitar being played in 5ths higher than the 1st guitars line.
