I am probably not the only one to feel this way but when Te Amo Corazon came out, I thought it was ok and let the board ranting really influence me. I always loved the video but kinda felt the song needed the video.

Well, the song has gotten a 2nd life for me and I really love it now! Instrumentation is beautiful and it is definitely an original Prince track. I am REALLY REALLY looking forward to 3121 and after my experience with this track, I am no longer going to read people's opinion until it comes out.....

Luckily they have all been positive so far but I want to judge the music for myself instead of being swayed by people with different preferences.....Bring on March 21st

I didnt think it was all that great at first, but now it's one of my favourite prince songs. I would put it in my top 10!

It's still too tepid for me. It never punches through past it's pleasant-enough surface. I'm sure I won't skip it on the album, or anything, but there's no way it deserved a single release.

I agree with MendesCity tho. I still haven't seen the video of TAC but considering the fact that Prince was releasing a "New" song for 3121 after a dry period..it was tepid, (tho a very lovely song) , not worthy of a Single. FURY on the other hand is HAWT !!! And got our attention,Prince is Best Known 4 his "Up and Moving" Music and he seems 2 have gone back 2 that in some of the other songs on 3121.

I am happy to hear this from all of you.

But I also understand where some of you are coming from. It didn't "hit" for you. S'cool.

I love how the tune starts out, but it just kinda dissipates as it goes on... Overall, I still like it though.

I have always liked the first 30 seconds of TAC. I just the rest of it would have built up into something great instead of OK.

I have grown to like it, but nothing really special about it.

TAC, like so many of his other recent songs, caught hell because it wasn't the "return to form" that many fans keep looking for. Everyone is entitled to their own tastes and opinions, but alot of folks need to let go of the past. Every artist has a peak and I think its fair to say that Prince has already reached his. I don't think, however, this means he can't release quality music to this day. That being said, I like TAC. It's a decent song and didn't deserve the beating it took by some here at the org.

People had issues with it because it was not only a single but the FIRST single. It's not someting that would be even moderately huge in the U.S. but it's great that parts of the world are digging it. I was in the middle with Te Amo Corazon but I have to say in the last few days, I've grown to REALLY like it a lot. It sounds great with headphones. I was watching "Dancing With The Stars" and I was just imagining the dancers dancing to this song and it made me give this song a 2nd chance and that's when it finally HIT me. I can't wait to hear this song with the rest of the album.

I think TAC served exactly the purpose that Universal and Prince had in mind releasing it.

I seriously doubt anybody working on this project expected Te Amo to blow up on radio. What it did was get the word out and get recoginition for the 3121 album . The video got airplay on VH1 for awhile. This song was released 3 months before the album drop date ! So it seems certain it was just released for buzz factor.

My wife grew up playing clasical piano in Russia and studied the classics. She considers Te Amo Corizon to be one of the most beautiful love songs ever written and she plays it almost daily in her car. She's also not a Prince fan, but does respect him as an artist. She feels it will take 20 years or more for this song to be recognized. Most of us today want instant gratification, but the classics can take centuries to be appreciated. I just started to get into Parade.

it did well in canada norway spain italy greece and many other countires
it was top ten in all those countries
