Nail on the head. Your whole post was on point. Forget another producer, if he's going to bring in other people into the studio to contribute to his work I'd hope it would be a kick ass musician. He already has one in Blackwell, but another would be interesting while Prince is the producer. I don't think there is anything wrong with another legitimate musical perspective as long as he has the last word - which has always been the case (when he didn't do every single thing himself) anyway. It would still be his vision. And ultimately I think that's what most Prince fans want (his vision). This post not for the wimp contingent. All whiny wusses avert your eyes. | |
