Eye realize your not 2 ask where U can get bootleg recordings. But since these are not bootlegs eye hope eye am not breaking the rules? Eye thought that eye had every Prince CD ever issued. But eye came to realize that eye do not have 2 of the purple one's CD's. 1-800 NEW FUNK and Rave INTO The Joy Fantastic. Any help from fellow orgers as to where eye might be able 2 purchase these 2 CD's would be greatly appreciated. Eye no they were NPG music club member only releases. Eye just became a member of the club recently and they R no longer being offered.

1-800-New-Funk was not a member-only release, it pre-dated NPGMC but could've been purchased by calling the phone number (same as Crystal Ball). It was released to stores as well -- that's where I bought my copy when I had one. Since then, there have been other truly member-only releases. Are you sure you have them all? One Nite Alone (piano), Xpectation, and others (currently available for download) -- not to mention many other single song downloads and the Ahdio shows. It's getting tougher and tougher to find this stuff. Best wishes.

Yes eye have One Nite Alone Studio, The Chocolate Invasion, The Slaughterhouse, C-Note, Xpectation and eye don't know if it's considered an album but eye also have The War CD. Eye ordered Crystal Ball thru 1-800-NEW FUNK but didn't order 1-800 NEW FUNK because it wasn't a Prince only CD. And eye just recently found out about RAVE INTO! Thanks 4 your support!

i've got both these albums. i wunt get ure knickers in a twist ova 1-800. its only a mish mash of unreleased other artists (including prince mind u). i found this in a hmv ova here in the uk much 2 my suprise. as 4 rave IN2 i got it free from the club. u cud try 1 of many "rare record" sights 4 them. i myself am lookin 4 a cd copy ov the familys album, more chance ov me steppin in sum rockin horse poop tho! gud luck!

Check the used bins at your local used CD stores. I've seen both of these before at my local store.
