Me and my band can play FURY! I showed this song to the players in my group and they loved it and the chords are.
- Gmin, F, Cmin, GMin then -Bb, A, Ab, Gmin -Bb, Cmin, Dmin So i started to play... then the bass player joined in playing the root note of each chord then the drummer put the perfect beat 2 it! We're going to play it in school assembly to promote 3121.

Good luck with it.
Not since since 1995 - having just seen/heard for the first time Same December / Zannalee / Empty Room have I looked 4ward to the release of a Prince song. Just hope the recorded Fury lives up to the live perfomances and doesn't go the way of Endorphinmachine / Zannalee.

Wow! That's awesome. Aint no fury like a band playing Fury.
As someone with no more musical talent than 'cat getting strangled' violin experience, I have nonetheless spent years dreaming of fronting a band that plays awesome Prince covers. Anyone else? What would you play? Here's me... Rave Un2 The Joy Fantastic - Extended, heavy on the guitar New Position - Milk that bass Lady Cab Driver - I would make this last forever I Like It There - Make it raw Days of Wild - Again, extend this one Dorothy Parker - Make it jazz like on ONA...L Sex - I would take helium to sound like Camille Welcome 2 The Dawn - I would make it sound like the plugged version that nobody has ever heard My Little Pill - Kidding My band would rock.

Trow some 9th chords to give a more accurate Prince/hendrix feel. More flair less punky.

Actually that's not true. Anyone is free to cover any song they want at a public performance. It's only when you intend to release a cover version do you have to pay royalties. A 'live performance' and a 'recording' are two totally different things when it comes to royalty payments. Toejam @ Peach & Black Podcast: http://peachandblack.podbean.com

That's awesome, GG. I think it's so cool to have a band where everyone could just jam out like that. From one teen to another, I'm sure it's probably some of the best music you could be playing right now. I've been wanting to start a band to play a bunch of styles, Prince especially. Come to think of it... Anyone live in the Boston area?
